Dear Trump Voters:
1) You lost. Get over it. Your guy came in third behind "None of the above" and "Hillary Clinton". So it goes.
2) Even though you lost, you will most likely get to lead anyway. So it goes.
3) That makes you are now a ruling minority, or if you will, an aristocracy. Live with it. Learn about it. So it goes.
4) An offer to you: Due to the effect of the Trump campaign, I appreciate that the "politically correct" and "patriotically correct" memeplexes will take a serious hit and hopefully disappear forever, good riddance. So he gets credit for that. There was too much political correctness and too much jingoism around anyway.
5) Should Trump and his "ideology" turn out to be good for the country and the species, I will be very happy to admit that I was wrong, just as you admitted that you were wrong for the things that Obama indisputably got right.
6) It's okay. And let me tell you why. Progressive causes will do better if they are advanced from the bottom up than from the top down. In 4 years this place will have more clean energy, more civil liberties, more freedom of and from religion, more personal and academic freedom, more STEM focus, and more global citizenship than it does now. To put it in terms that an unrelenting nerd will understand, "Megatron may lead, but Insecticons don't follow".
